Description: The CRJ 100/200 models, also known as the Canadair Regional Jet 100 /200, was originally built as a stretched version of the Canadair Challenger, which was purchased by Learjet in 1976. The aircraft was introduced into service in 1992, and would go on to completely change the aviation industry. Worldwide, there are currently over 1,050 CRJ aircrafts in service. There are several variants of the CRJ series aircraft including:
CRJ 100 - This is the original CRJ, and has 50 seats on board.
CRJ 200 - The later version, is exactly the same as the CRJ 100, except the engines were improved for efficiency.
Challenger 800/850 – This is the business variant of the CRJ 200.
